November is National Writing Month

November 16, 2009

It’s National Novel Writing Month or NaNoWriMo. Whoever came up with the acronym should be shot but I will deal since I need to write a novel.

The other problem with November is that the movie “New Moon” comes out November 20th. You may not know but I am a huge Stephanie Meyers fan or “Twifan”. I like to call myself a “Twilight Mom” as I am one of the millions of Moms out there who love the series. It isn’t just for tweens and teens, gang. I am perfectly comfortable in my adolescent state of mind to say I’ve been on twilightmoms.com (yes there is a site by that name) and twilightersanonymous.com way too much. OMG! I am like obsessed with rpattz!

So please pray for me that this week goes smoothly. I hope my children are healthy and my husband doesn’t have a last minute business trips because Thursday night at 7p I’ll be waiting in line with my other insane Mom friends to see the midnight show of “New Moon”. I can’t wait!

My next post will actually be related to writing. Either that our my commentary on the New Moon soundtrack, which I can’t stop listening to lately. Lord, please help me. There is a 15 year old trapped in my body.

Check it out! I have a blog!

I am a 37 year old Mother of two beautiful, highly energetic girls. They are 4 and 1. Working on my novel about a Mother of 1 who never really grew up and secretly lusts about a young Rock star. The circumstances in her life take a turn where she actually meets the object of her obsession.  He is nothing like she expects.

My life revolves around my girls but my little escape is writing. 2010 will be the year I get published (or at least become a more disciplined writer). I am also an avid reader, enjoy exercise, family time, cooking and scrap booking (I’m a suburban Mom, it’s a requirement).
